The collection is titled Cherry Orchard and draws inspiration from “The Cherry Orchard” by Anton
Čechov. A work that struck us for its sense of suspension, of imminent ending, of a transition not
yet fulfilled. The orchard, in our interpretation, becomes a symbol of a space inhabited by a generation that feels the urge to change, yet remains uncertain about the direction to take. It’s an image that reflects our own condition as young designers: immersed in a complex, unstable system that demands a strong and recognizable identity, while we are still in search of our own shape.

The Cherry Orchard collection does not offer answers, but narrates this tension.
It consists of five blankets — Flag, Scarf, Umbrella, Manifesto, Tapestry — which function as visual
and tactile devices. Each one represents a possible position within this unstable landscape:

Banidera is the need to affirm one’s presence;
Ombrello represents protection and the intimacy of the creative process;
Manifesto is the act of speaking out, a political statement, even when silent;
Sciarpa symbolizes transition — the moving link between what is left behind and what is carried
forward. A gesture that accompanies, that protects without restraining. A threshold between
inside and outside;
Arazzo holds memory, directly referencing the character of Firs — marginal and forgotten, but
deeply human.

With Cherry Orchard, we want to leave the garden — yes — but do so without losing who we are. Through tactile materials, layered visual elements, and a shared narrative, this collection is the representation of a passage, but also a stance: we refuse urgency and superficiality. We want to inhabit change consciously, carrying our identity into the future — intact and recognizable.
